Championing Global Health Leadership with Dorin Brenner Turgeman as NNN Vice-Chair

For NALA, leadership means stepping up to advance global health efforts, and we’re proud to celebrate Dorin Brenner Turgeman, our Head of Operations, as she takes on a pivotal new role as Vice-Chair of the NTD NGO Network. This recognition highlights her unwavering dedication to the fight against neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) and her exceptional contributions over the past seven years.

As Head of Operations at NALA, Dorin has been a driving force behind impactful programming and advocacy efforts. Her collaborative approach and strategic insight have not only supported NALA’s mission but also aligned the NNN’s goals of advancing health and eliminating NTDs.

As she steps down from her role as Chair of the NNN WASH Working Group, Dorin leaves behind a track record of significant contributions. Her work promoting integrated water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) approaches was instrumental in shaping policies, fostering partnerships, and advancing the global agenda for NTD prevention. Dorin’s commitment to evidence-based practices has guided the development of essential resources and tools for NTD prevention, bridging the gap between data and action.

Dorin’s election as Vice-Chair of the NNN network is a testament to her dedication and ability to inspire collaboration across sectors and borders. Her leadership will play a crucial role in strengthening the NNN’s governance and driving efforts to eliminate NTDs globally.

Reflecting on this achievement, Dorin shared, “It’s an honor to contribute to the NNN’s mission of fostering collaboration and finding solutions that transform lives. Together, we can create lasting impact for communities worldwide.”

NALA is proud to see Dorin step into this role, and we are confident that her expertise and passion will lead to meaningful progress for the global health community.
